Following our exploration is the unique architecture of One Pillar Pagoda, shaped like a lotus blossom. After saving energy with local lunch, you will leave for the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology, which focuses on the 54 officially recognized ethnic groups in Vietnam. Get up bright and early because today’s adventure takes you on a 4-hour ride to Pu Luong Nature Reserve. Life in Pu Luong is a world apart, hidden away from the urban chaos. That’s why, along the way, you’ll be treated to breathtaking views of mountains cloaked in tropical forests and sweeping valleys with terraced rice fields. Upon reaching Pu Luong, shake off any travel fatigue with a delicious lunch at your retreat.

Afternoon:
Pu Luong is home to several small hamlets where ethnic Thai and Muong communities reside. You can spend your afternoon exploring their local villages, marveling at the traditional stilt houses dotting the landscape. Once the captain sets sail, it’s time to fill your tummy with a delicious lunch and feast your eyes with odd-shaped limestone pillars and hidden coves along the way.

Afternoon:
A bamboo boat awaits to cruise you through a 70-meter water passage of Sang Cave, where you can marvel at the majestic limestone formations above your head. After that, our cruise will drop achor in Tra Bau, a tranquil area with emerald waters where you can enjoy a refreshing swim. When the sun sets, head back to the cruise for a breathtaking view from the top deck, followed by a traditional Vietnamese cooking class. Conclude the day with a delightful dinner and an overnight stay amidst the exotic landscape of Lan Ha bay.

As we go further, we’ll explore Trung Trang Cave with magnificent stalactites and stalagmites. Returning to your cruise, save this time to soak in the panoramic bay views as we cruise back to the shore.

Afternoon:
Once we’re back in Hanoi, depending on the flight schedule, you’ll head to Da Nang in Central Vietnam. Our driver will be there to welcome and let you enjoy a bit of downtime in this city before heading to Hoi An.

Just about an hour’s drive from Hoi An, we’ll be as if transported back in time to the mystical My Son Sanctuary, a UNESCO Heritage Site. You’ll encounter 20 stunning Cham monuments, each whispering tales of Cham cultures, architecture, and civilization that flourished from the 2nd to the 13th century. Later, we can swing by a nearby theater for a mesmerizing Aspara dance performance, before returning to Hoi An.

Afternoon:
After lunch, your tour guide will take you on an orientation walk around the World Heritage-listed Old Town. Our tour highlights include iconic landmarks such as the Japanese Covered Bridge, the Chinese Assembly Hall, Tan Ky Ancient House, and the bustling ChinaTown. But that’s not all! Have you ever heard about the traditional lantern crafting in Hoi An? It’s been going strong for over 400 years now! We’ll visit a local workshop and learn how to make your own traditional lantern. Today, you will have the opportunity to explore Da Nang, Vietnam’s best living city. Our first stop is Ba Na Hills, where you’ll ride the cable car route holding five world records. As you ascend, make sure to stop at the transit station at Linh Ung Pagoda, Le Jardin D’amour flower garden, and of course, the iconic Golden Bridge, a social media phenomenon since 2018. Once you reach the top of Ba Na Hills, get ready for a massive complex of amusement activities.

Afternoon:
After lunch, our day continues with a visit to the magnificent Marble Mountains which has a harmonious blend of structures and nature, with caves, tunnels, towers, and pagodas. Sure, you’ll have to tackle a few flights of stairs to reach the summit, but the breathtaking panoramas make every step worth it. Then, we will head to Museum of Cham Sculpture containing the world’s largest collection of Cham ethnic artifacts dating back from the 5th to 15th centuries. Afterwards, we’ll spend some time leisuring at My Khe Beach before returning to Hoi An.

Just like stepping into a real-life history book, we’ll explore just a small part of this 250 km underground network built by Vietnamese back in the wartime. Can you believe these massive tunnels were not only war shelters but also kitchens, hospitals, command centers and secret storages for food and weapons? Get some adrenaline as we crawl through the tunnels and witness all kinds of guns and traps. Along the way, you’ll even hear incredible stories about the brave soldiers who lived, fought, or even sacrificed here during the Vietnam War.

Afternoon:
After savoring your local lunch, let’s head back to the city center. Our guide will take you to some of the most iconic spots in HCMC! We’ll visit the Reunification Palace, the War Remnant Museum, the Central Post Office, and Notre Dame Cathedral. Each destination you visit serves as not only a cultural symbol but also a historical milestone that documents Vietnam’s journey through colonization and the struggle for peace in the 20th century.

Morning:
Journeying out of the city, we head to Ben Tre in Mekong Delta, famously known as ‘Vietnam’s coconut kingdom’! Did you know it produces 40% of the country’s coconuts? On arrival, we’ll have a ride on a motorized rickshaw to discover how the locals have been subsisting on coconut for generations. Our first stop is a cottage industry in Phong Nam, where you’ll see coconut shells being separated to make charcoal and coconut flesh being used for delicious desserts. Then, it’s time for a boat ride along Chet Say Canal, watching coconuts being transferred by boat while we’re sipping fresh coconut water. Next up, we’ll visit Nhon Thanh, famous for its traditional mat weaving from sedge plants. You can even try your hand at making a mat with the help of a craftsman. Savor your lunch at a local restaurant filled with Mekong specialties.

Afternoon:
We’ll hop on a sampan boat to glide through coconut groves along the maze of small canals, a hallmark of the Mekong Delta. You can also test your balance on the monkey bridge, named for the playful postures travelers make while crossing these bamboo poles. As the day comes to a close, we’ll head back to Ho Chi Minh City.
