Another important note is the complex of Ho Chi Minh mausoleum is closed on Monday for maintenance. So if the tour occurs that day, you have another option to visit the surrounding areas, which are also ancient buildings.
Continue your excursion to the Ethnology Museum in the afternoon. The well-preserved artifacts of 54 groups of ethics will become educational information for young children to learn about ethnic diversity.
Unfortunately, the Ethnology Museum doesn’t open on Monday either. But you can choose to visit Hoa Lo Prison as an alternative. This is a place to demonstrate the tragic but heroic history of Vietnam.
Day 3: Cruise the Magnificent Halong Bay
After breakfast, let’s travel to Halong Bay, a must-visit place in your Vietnam family holiday. We highly recommend choosing a cruise to enjoy the bay’s view fully.

Day 5: Experience Tranquility at Hoi An Countryside
From your hotel by your guide, you will be transferred to Tra Que village, a rural town in Hoi An. You firstly will be introduced about the history of the village, the cultivation of vegetables as well as discovering the use of vegetables in traditional Vietnamese medicine.

The afternoon will be pretty free and easy with a cycling tour around Vietnam Western village. Your family will have the chance to get a deep insight into the life of locals here.

Day 10: Life on a Boat in Can Tho
Can Tho is famous for the colorful Cai Rang floating market. It offers daily necessities such as meat, vegetables, fruits and many other local foods like Hu Tieu, Bun, Pho.
Go deep into some local villages, your kids will have the chance to witness the amazing life of people living by the river. Your family will have an unforgettable time joining the fishermen in practicing traditional fishing techniques or the artisans making traditional handicrafts.
