Travel Sense Asia company trip in Central Vietnam

All About Us: Travel Sense Asia’s Company Trip to Central Vietnam

⏱️5 Mins Read

After a year of hard work, our team at Travel Sense Asia (TSA) set off on an unforgettable company trip across Central Vietnam in June 2025. Named “All About Us”, this 5-day journey was much more than a getaway. It was a chance to slow down, reconnect with our roots, and rediscover the very destinations we proudly introduce to travelers worldwide.

And here’s a little recap of the memories we made together…

A self-created journey by Travel Sense Asia’s local experts

With over 15 years of experience designing journeys for travelers worldwide, TSA took this opportunity to walk the talk. Our internal team entirely self-managed every part of this trip, from destination research to logistics and on-the-ground coordination.

But the most remarkable part? We didn’t just plan the trip. We lived it – as travelers.

Walking through history, listening with intention, asking questions, and observing every detail with fresh eyes. It was a powerful reminder that to truly offer great travel advice, you need more than a route map or quotation – you need first-hand insights.

A company trip through the incredible Central Vietnam

1. Quang Tri – Where history speaks with pride

We visited some of Quang Tri’s most significant historical sites, including the Quang Tri Citadel, Hien Luong Bridge, and the Vinh Moc Tunnels — each offering a powerful glimpse into Vietnam’s past. These landmarks are closely tied to the nation’s efforts to protect its sovereignty and preserve peace. Our day in Quang Tri concluded at the Truong Son Martyrs Cemetery, a solemn tribute to those who made great sacrifices for the country.

2. Hue – Where royal elegance inspires Travel Sense Asia’s creativity

In Hue, we stepped into the heart of Vietnam’s bygone past at The Imperial City. The trip reached a fun peak here, with each group tasked to film a short music video set against royal backdrops – creativity, coordination, and a lot of laughter ensued. Then, we shifted to the gentle pace of a dragon boat ride along the Perfume River. As the boat glided through calm waters, it carried us toward Thien Mu Pagoda – a timeless symbol of Hue’s spiritual soul. We ended our Hue visit at Thuy Xuan incense village, where vibrant bundles of incense sticks painted the landscape in brilliant shades of red, yellow, and purple.

3. Hoi An – Where nature and culture blend seamlessly

The final leg led us to Hoi An. We wandered the Ancient Town, camera in hand, for a fun and fast-paced creative photo challenge, hunting for the most memorable moments with friendly locals.

Later, we ventured into the waterways of the Cam Thanh Coconut Forest. Rowing traditional basket boats, we found ourselves spinning, wobbling, and laughing together as we tried (and often failed!) to mimic the locals’ effortless technique.

In the afternoon, we had a visit to Kim Bong Carpentry Village. Surrounded by the scent of wood and the rhythmic tapping of chisels, we watched skilled artisans breathe life into timber. Inspired by their work, we ended the day with a mini carving challenge.

Team bonding for better understanding

Not the usual tug-of-war or beach games, our company trip was designed with interesting games to engage minds and hearts. Each challenge required observation, empathy, coordination, and quick thinking. What we discovered wasn’t just who was fastest – it was who truly understood the place and the people.

From decoding messages through war events to acting out traditional melodies or capturing local spirit through a lens, the activities fostered a deep connection, not only with each other but also with the destinations themselves.

Final Thoughts

Our company trip to Central Vietnam wasn’t just a normal vacation. It was a return to our values, our team, and the very heart of why Travel Sense Asia exists. With every stop, every conversation, and every challenge, we were reminded of the power of authentic travel: the kind that respects the land, the people, and the stories behind each site.

As we return to our desks and dive back into our work at Travel Sense Asia, we carry more than photos or souvenirs. We bring back empathy, insight, and a renewed sense of purpose.
